Eligibility
Festival events are open to participants aged 16 and over. Junior (U16) events operate under separate registration terms and guardian-consent arrangements. Entry, payment, and any ticket protection are handled through our ticketing partner (EventPop) under their terms.
1. Identity Verification Requirements
Mandatory ID check: Every participant must present a valid, government-issued photo identification (passport for international players; national ID card or passport for Thai citizens) at the physical tournament desk prior to competing in their first scheduled match of any festival event.
Name matching: The name used during online registration must exactly match the name displayed on the official identification document.
Verification purpose: Verification is strictly required to secure the integrity of the player brackets, comply with local anti-fraud regulations, process eligible prize funds, and report accurate data to the World Nineball Tour and relevant governing bodies.
2. Data Retention and Deletion Schedule
We manage player data using a structured three-tier retention framework to respect your privacy while meeting necessary administrative and sporting needs:
Tier 1 — Non-prize-winners: Identity documents and personal images collected solely for physical verification will be securely and permanently deleted within thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the entire festival.
Tier 2 — WNT seeding and tournament records: Basic player metrics, match scores, brackets, and WNT player IDs will be retained indefinitely as historical sporting records and to maintain accurate global ranking data.
Tier 3 — Prize winners: Identification and tax-related documents for players who win prize money in any festival tournament will be securely archived for at least five (5) years to fulfil Thai tax laws and corporate auditing obligations.
3. Data Transfer and Third-Party Disclosure
WNT governing bodies: Tournament results, player names, nationalities, and match statistics will be transferred directly to the World Nineball Tour for official seeding, ranking updates, and global media distribution.
Financial and tax authorities: In compliance with Thai financial laws, personal data and payout records for prize winners will be shared with relevant local tax authorities and our processing banks.
No commercial selling: Your private registration data will never be sold, leased, or disclosed to third-party marketing companies.
4. Secure Storage and Data Security
Encrypted processing: All data submitted through this registration form is encrypted in transit and stored in protected databases with strict electronic access controls.
Restricted access: Physical and digital access to player identification records is strictly limited to authorised tournament directors and financial compliance personnel.
5. Participant Rights
Access and correction: You maintain the right to access, review, or request corrections to your personal information at any time before the tournament bracket is finalised.
Erasure requests: You may request the erasure of your personal data prior to the start of the event, which will result in the immediate forfeiture of your tournament registration without a refund. Post-event erasure is subject to the data retention timelines outlined in Section 2.
